How to go to "three gili" lombok, Indonesia

Okayyy,,
Here we go..
I will share you a few transportation that you can use to go to lombok and "three gili" from bali.
Why from bali? Because tourists are usually choose to go to bali, since bali is more popular as a tourist destination. Most of international flight also include bali for one of their destination.
These are the several way that u can choose:
Direct from Bali to Gili Island
1. Fast Boat  (include shuttle bus)
Price from IDR 250k to 610k one way. You have to bargain to get the best price.
You can get ticket from ticket agent at kuta-legian (bali).
You can buy ticket for one way ore return with open date for return ticket.
You will be pick up from the hotel or any place u want (from kuta, denpasar, ubud, sanur, or nusa dua) at 6am by shuttle bus to go to padang bai harbour (for about 1-1,5hours). From padang bai you will use fast boat to go to three gili (you can choose gili trawangan, air, or meno) for about 1 hour.
You also can get the ticket at padang bai harbour. There are two schedhule from padang bai at 9am, and 3pm.
At three gilis you can get the ticket at the ticket agent at the island. There are also two schedule from the gilis island at 10am and 3pm.
2. Shuttle bus with ferry boat
Price from IDR180K- 250K. Also need a bargain for best price.
The scheme is same as use a fast boat. The difference is you will use ferry boat instead of fast boat. This took about 8 hours to go to gili islands from bali.
From Bali to padang bai harbour
1. Taxi
You can use taxi from kuta or airport to padang bai harbour.
Price about IDR 250k (with taxi meter) maximal. 3 passengers
Choose a trusted taxi brand. And ask to use a taxi meter before you get in.
From padang bai you can choose fast boat (depend on the schedule) or ferry boats that available 24hour
2. Rent a car.
You can rent a car to go to padang bai from airport or kuta-legian to padang bai.
Price IDR 250k to 400k for 3 hours (its enough to go to padang bai that only spent about 1,5 hours)
Max. Passengers from 3 untill 7  persons depand on type of car.
You have to bargain to get the best price.
4. Public transportation from ubung bus station (denpasar) to padang bai harbour.
Price IDR 12k to 20k per person. Takes 3-4 hours (longer duration)
5. Shuttle bus to mataram (lombok)
Price IDR 90K-130K per person. Depart from ubung bus station at 5pm- 7pm everyday. This price is include ferry boat ticket.
From padang bai harbour to lembar harbour, lombok.
7. Ferry Boat.
From padang bai harbour.
Price IDR 37K per person. Available 24 hours. Take 4-6hours depend on the waether.
From lembar harbour to bangsal harbour.
8. Rent a car
Price IDR 350k - IDR 700K per car. Max. 6 persons. You have to bargain for best price.
9. Shuttle from lembar to bangsal harbour. Take 2 hours
Price IDR 125K - 250K per person. Also need bargain. Takes 2 hours
10. Public transport from lembar to mataram. Price IDR 10K - 20K (bargain). Then take another public transport from mataram to lembar bus station. Price IDR 15k. From the station you can use a cidomo (horse wagon) to go to bangsal harbour ( 5 minutes). Price IDR 5K per person.
Public transport available from 6am to 4pm. This takes 3 - 6 hours.
11. Taxi
Taxi is very rare at lembar harbour. You can get taxi if you lucky.
Price IDR 250K use taxi meter. Take 2 hours. Max  3 persons.
From Bangsal to gili islands.
12. Public Boats
Buy ticket only from the authorized ticket counter that managed by goverment.
DO NOT BUY TICKET FROM ticket scalpers that you can find at all horbour area.
Price to gili trawangan IDR 12K, gili air IDR 10K, gili meno IDR8K. (take 30minutes to 1 hour).
Public boat available from 8am to 4pm. After that hours you can rent a boat with Price IDR250K-350K.
Some tips travelling to lombok:
- Bargain all the price that the seller offer. (except if use taxi or goverment public transport)
- Pretend if you already know the price range.
- Try to ask min. 3 sellers.
